Originally from the UK, I graduated with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bolton and then completed my Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) from Christchurch University College, Canterbury. I moved to Portugal for the first time 20 years ago. Since then I have lived in Africa, The Middle East, Asia and around Europe, working in international schools in a variety of classroom and leadership positions, including Head of Early Years and Head of Primary. I returned to Portugal three years ago and I am very happy to be back exploring this beautiful country.
I enjoy travelling with my family and have been lucky enough to visit many amazing countries and look forward to adding more stamps to my passport. I love baking and luckily I also like exercising, walking and spending time outdoors with my family.
As the Founding Head of Primary, I am excited to begin this new journey with the children, parents and staff at The Lisboan. I look forward to meeting everyone soon.
