We visited The Lisboan International School, located in the former Napolitana Factory in Alcântara, Lisbon, for the filming of “Mãos à Obra”, an initiative by APPII – Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors, sponsored by Engexpor. This visit highlighted the transformation of a historic industrial complex into a contemporary international school — a project promoted by Terram Capital and operated by Artemis Education — reinforcing its contribution to the city and to the educational landscape in Lisbon.
Engexpor has been involved since the licensing phase, providing project management and construction management in a demanding rehabilitation process marked by technical, architectural, and urban constraints.
Education is one of the key sectors in which Engexpor continues to develop complex and impactful projects, balancing heritage preservation with future-oriented use.
Present at the visit were Tom Lloyd Owen, Guðmundur Hegner Jónsson, Janet Jacquier and Inês Pinheiro Torres from The Lisboan International School; Manuel Maria Gonçalves from APPII; and Miguel Alegria, Pedro Grilo and Rita Serralha from Engexpor.
✖️ Estivemos na The Lisboan International School, instalada na antiga Fábrica da Napolitana, em Alcântara, para as filmagens do programa “Mãos à Obra”, uma iniciativa da APPII – Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors, com o patrocínio da Engexpor. A visita deu a conhecer a reabilitação de um conjunto industrial histórico, agora transformado numa escola internacional contemporânea — um projeto promovido pela Terram Capital e operado pela Artemis Education — que devolve este espaço emblemático à cidade de Lisboa.
A Engexpor acompanhou esta reabilitação desde a fase de licenciamento, assegurando a coordenação e gestão de projeto e a gestão da construção, num processo exigente, marcado por condicionantes técnicas, arquitetónicas e urbanas.
A área da Educação é um dos setores onde a Engexpor tem vindo a desenvolver projetos de elevada complexidade e impacto, conciliando património, funcionalidade e visão de futuro.
