In its inaugural year, The Lisboan delivered a performance that far exceeded expectations, bringing Disney Pixar’s Finding Nemo Kids to life in front of packed audiences in Lisbon.
What began as the school’s very first musical quickly became something much bigger: a celebration of creativity, confidence, and community. After months of rehearsals, students stepped onto the stage with a level of professionalism, energy, and heart that surprised even many of the parents in attendance.
From standout performances and memorable musical numbers to student-led work behind the scenes in lighting, costumes, and stage production, the show reflected the spirit of a school still in its first year but already building a strong creative culture.
For many families, the production felt like a defining moment in The Lisboan’s early story. It captured what the school has aimed to build since opening in September 2025: an environment where students are encouraged not only academically, but creatively and personally as well.
If expectations were cautious before the curtain rose, they certainly were not by the final applause.
