Investing in your child’s education is one of the most valuable decisions you can make and one of the greatest gifts you can give, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning, personal growth, and future success.

Our fee structure has been designed to provide families with clarity and transparency, ensuring that the essential resources required for learning are included within the annual tuition fee.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE SCHOOL FEE?

We Make School Life Simple

Our goal is to make life easier for families. We carefully organise and manage your child’s educational journey, providing the books, resources, materials, and curriculum-based experiences they need to thrive. With everything thoughtfully prepared by the school, parents can focus on enjoying their child’s growth and development, knowing that the details are taken care of from drop-off to pick-up.

The annual school fee includes:

LEARNING RESOURCES

  • All school books and workbooks
  • Educational resources and learning materials
  • Classroom supplies and academic materials
  • Access to school learning resources and equipment

CITY AS A CLASSROOM TRIPS

  • Academic field trips directly linked to the curriculum
  • Educational visits and learning experiences organised as part of the school programme

DAILY LEARNING

  • Classroom-based learning activities
  • Project materials required for the curriculum
  • Arts, crafts, and educational resources used during lessons

ADDITIONAL COSTS

The following are not included in the annual school fee and may incur additional charges:

  • School meals and snacks
  • External after-school activities
  • School uniform
  • Optional field trips

2026-27

To make planning as simple as possible, families may choose to be invoiced annually or termly, as selected on the enrolment form. Fees are invoiced in advance and should be paid before the start of the relevant academic period.

BOOKS, ADMIN & CAPITAL FEES (Primary & Secondary only)

Our Books, Administration, and Capital Fees help us provide a high-quality learning environment for every child. These fees help support the school’s long-term development and will be charged termly or annually on a pro rata basis on each invoice.

These fees for the 2026-27 academic year are:

Tuition fees are invoiced in advance, either annually or termly, according to the payment option selected on the enrolment form:

APPLICATION FEE

A non-refundable Application Fee of €250 is payable when submitting an application to The Lisboan. Payment of the fee is required before the admissions process can begin.

The application fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing each application, including the review of documentation, assessment arrangements, and admissions evaluation. It also enables our Admissions Team to dedicate the time and care each family deserves while ensuring that the admissions process is focused on applicants who are genuinely committed to joining our school community.

ENROLMENT FEE (new students only)

A one-time Enrolment Fee is payable upon acceptance of an offer of a place. This fee supports the planning and preparation required for each new student’s arrival, including staffing, resources, and onboarding, ensuring we can provide the highest level of care and support to every family joining our community.

We are pleased to offer reduced registration fees for siblings, making it easier for families to enrol more than one child at The Lisboan.

RE-ENROLMENT FEE (current students only)

A re-enrolment fee of €1,000 is invoiced each February and must be paid by 31 March to secure your child’s place for the following academic year. This fee enables us to plan staffing, resources, and programmes effectively, ensuring a smooth start to the school year and the highest quality educational experience for every child.

The re-enrolment fee is fully credited against your Term 1 tuition fees for the following academic year. If payment is not received by 31 March, your child’s place cannot be guaranteed and the fee cannot be credited.

FOOD SERVICES (mandatory for all students)

Our Food Services package includes a morning snack, freshly prepared lunch, and afternoon snack each school day.

The fee is €540 per term, charged with each term’s tuition invoice.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are school books included?

Yes. All required school books, workbooks, and curriculum materials are included.

Are field trips included?

Academic field trips and educational visits that form part of the curriculum are included. With our City as a Classroom Trips, our students get to enjoy Lisbon’s cultural, sportive and  as part of their curriculum.

Are meals included?

No. Meals and snacks are charged separately, charged per term along with tuition.

Are after-school activities included?

After-school clubs led by The Lisboan teachers are included in the school fee. External extracurricular activities provided by specialist partners may incur an additional charge, unless otherwise stated.

Are there any hidden costs?

We are committed to transparency and will communicate any additional charges in advance.
