From Lower Secondary onwards, students follow our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme, using their own Microsoft device each day. We believe that owning and managing their device encourages responsibility, independence and good digital habits, while ensuring students have consistent access to the tools they need for learning.

Alongside developing digital skills, we place a strong emphasis on digital citizenship, helping students use technology safely, responsibly and with confidence.

Assessment is continuous and designed to support progress rather than simply measure performance.

Teachers use a combination of formative assessment, student reflection, project work and Cambridge assessment frameworks to identify strengths, provide meaningful feedback and guide each student’s next steps. Students become active participants in their own learning, developing the confidence to reflect, improve and set ambitious goals.

Education at The Lisboan extends far beyond our campus.

Through our Experience Programme, outdoor education, educational visits and partnerships across Lisbon, students explore the city as a living classroom. These experiences strengthen classroom learning while developing leadership, entrepreneurship, cultural awareness, wellbeing and social responsibility.
