About Us

The Lisboan International School welcomes children aged 3 to 18 into a world-class education enriched with the true spirit of Lisbon. For 2025, we’ll be ages 3 to 14, with each year we’ll grow with our students, adding a new year group annually until our full secondary programme is complete in 2028.

From our historic home in the heart of the Alcântara district, we provide children with a learning experience that emphasises innovation, sustainability and global citizenship, giving them the skills and ambition to succeed in 21st Century life.

Our forward-thinking academic program brings together the best of the British Curriculum and the globally renowned International Baccalaureate to guide students on an academically robust and relevant learning journey. This is enriched by the Artemis Experience, our dynamic and diverse co-curricular program that encompasses many opportunities to explore personal development as well as Lisbon’s culture and landscape.

We are a non-selective, inclusive and kind school community, and our purpose as educators is to enable children to thrive – during their time here, in their further studies, and in the world. We encourage students to be curious and support them in developing the motivation, confidence, and purpose to be the best version of themselves.
