Children in the Early Years bring a natural sense of curiosity, energy and motivation into the classroom. We nurture these qualities through play, balancing adult guided activities with child led exploration.
Learning takes place in a stimulating environment indoors and outdoors, giving children a wide range of experiences that help them make sense of the world around them.
These characteristics guide the learning in our classrooms, our students’ experiences and the resources we use.
Our youngest students’ learning is enhanced through specialist teachers and staff. Students in the Early Years will have specialist lessons in Portuguese Language and Culture, Art, Math, Music and PE. Our Early Years students also have access to the primary library.
At The Lisboan, our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals demonstrates our social responsibility. Throughout the Early Years, students are introduced to big ideas that start with understanding and managing themselves before acting on this at home and at school.
